An exciting new Ninja Warrior playground opens in Australia in Harrington Park. The event hosted by Camdel Council brought families and loved ones from far and near to celebrate the special event in Harrington Park Reserve. Park is a place bubbling with exciting and eye-catching events. It’s a hub of entertainment, refreshment and nature’s wonder for residents, visitors and tourists alike. The £850k park includes rollerblading, areas for skateboarding, bike riding and a ninja warrior apparatus. The event is the first of its kind for children and the young to enjoy the new facilities and several other activities.
In declaring the facility open, the mayor of Camden Peter Sidegreaves said a celebration is a landmark event and a milestone for the council. He stated that the new youth play facility is the first major park space to be opened in 2018 and will soon be followed by the nearly completed Curry Reserve Water Play Park and the Sedgewick Reserve Youth Space in the weeks ahead.
Sidegreaves further stated that the council was totally proud of the new facility and hope of seeing children, families and their loved ones visit the space. He added that the day would be a great added and encourage residents and visitors to grab the opportunity and have fun and enjoy with their families some outdoor time. Activities at the event include a jumping castle, garden games, live music, face-painting, and general painting. Sausage and other food were also served to attendees. Ninja Warrior playground and its playground equipment is located at Harrington Lake Reserve adjacent to Fairwater Drive, Northern Road, and Harrington Park.
Apart from the new park that was just opened, Harrington Park is a host to lots of natural harbours like the Manning Valley. The valley is a 9 stunning reserve and National Park located 45 kilometres of pristine coastline. It’s the only double delta river network in Australia connecting two lakes take lead to the ocean. This lush natural feature was made for adventure with mountain trains, walking trails, bike tracks, waterfalls, beaches rapids, fishing, lookouts and so much more. The seaside and hinterland towns of Harrington Park are also beautiful and impressive ready to welcome visitors. Each town has its unique vibes such as quirky festivals, cute cafes, farmer’s market, and vintage shops; for sure you will find something lovely in each of our towns.
